A few weeks ago, I heard through the grapevine that George Reis' new book "Photoshop CS3 for Forensic Professionals" was available, so this past Monday I finally took a few minutes to order it through Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up at my doorstep Tuesday.

Click to find it on Amazon.comNow before I go any further, I want to tell you up front I haven't completely finished reading the book, but the first thing that impressed me about it was that it's laid out, so you don't have to. There are three parts to the book with a total of twenty-four chapters. At the very beginning George makes it clear that after completing part one all remaining chapters stand on their own and can be read in any order that may meet your needs or interests.

Turns out, pretty damn fast. Way faster than I would, on anything, let alone a croch rocket.

Many of my favorite memories of my time in Broome County involve Harry. Like when he and I where taking hang gliding classes together in the evenings, and those dark & early morning hours on the weekend.

My favorite though was almost dying with him, which I would gladly do to this day, if given an option of how to go out. We were riding motorcycles. Enough said.

Okay, maybe not enough. You should know that my career as an amateur daredevil started very young. I began riding our Honda 50 at 5 years old, and just kept trying to think of more spectacular ways to nearly kill myself from then on.

Harry has me beat. Hands down.

Our Executive office spoke with Harry about us riding motorcycles together, taking hang gliding lessons together, etcetera.  Thier comment to him was:

"There's a reason the President & the Vice President don't ride in the same vehicle together, Harry."

Yesterday I received my copy of the Adobe Creative Suite CS3 bundle, and although I just installed it I'm already very impressed. Adobe has made great strides with integrating their various design products, making it easier than ever to create, manage, and edit content for any medium. As a matter of fact, I've been using Adobe Contribute now for approximately five minutes with no prior experience, and I'm using it to publish this very post.

Any member OR visitor can now leverage the new Bookmark feature incorporated into my Downloads & File Sharing area.

Self-explanatory really, but just to clarify Bookmarks are essentially favorites.

There is now a favorites/Bookmark feature in the Download & File Sharing area...and you don't need to be logged in to use it.

Wow. Very, very cool device. Apple's innovation continues to blow away their competition by leaps and bounds, and you can bet that the iPhone will be one of, if not the, hottest tech gadget(s) of 2007. A must have though? Well, no, not from a business productivity standpoint. But with the introduction of Mac OS X in the mobile device marketplace I'm quite certain Windows, Palm, and RIM are not feeling all warm and fuzzy.

Privacy policies & practices are key, but it goes both ways my friends.

YOU must develop & follow them, as well as the businesses, apps, sites, software, products, and services you use.

Have I gone mad about privacy? No, it's always been a concern of mine, from many perspectives.  It is also the topic of discussion for my audio podcast's January episodes. So there's that.

Surveillance Capitalism. Cambridge Analytica. Data Rights. Human Rights. Privacy Policies & Practices. CCPA.

If you're interested in any of these topics, maybe you can help me learn a few things?  Check out my Patreon posts and our January podcast episodes for my two cents.

Truly wishing you & yours all the best in 2020. Happy New Year my friends!
