DME ResourcesThe Media-Geek community is now well over 600 members strong and growing! Although I was literally operating in a state of emergency for the entire month of April and on the road most of May, this morning I managed to finish a significant system upgrade for our site. This upgrade provides better integration of the video posting capability, improves efficiency for many features and addresses a few other minor bugs.
I've completely removed the old "Video Library" again and replaced it with a system that is integrated into the core community scripts. The new video system is easier and much more efficient. Now each time a video is added it will be listed in the activity stream, and we'll also see videos featured on the community home page. Videos can be added from most of the popular online video sharing sites, to include:
- YouTube
- Google Video
- Yahoo Video
- MySpace Video
- Flickr
- Vimeo
- Metacafe
- Blip.tv
- Dailymotion
- Break
- Live Leak
- Viddler
